1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the services of Legacy Writers LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

2. Services

Legacy Writers LLC provides professional literary services including, but not limited to:

• Ghostwriting services for books and manuscripts
• Book editing (developmental, line, and copy editing)
• Book coaching and mentorship programs
• Writers retreats and workshops
• Literary consulting and manuscript evaluation

All services are subject to availability and must be agreed upon in writing before commencement.

3. Intellectual Property

Client Ownership: Upon full payment for ghostwriting services, all rights, title, and interest in the completed work transfer to the client. The Company retains no rights to the content and will not claim authorship.

Work in Progress: Until final payment is received, the Company retains ownership of all drafts and work in progress.

Company Materials: All materials created by the Company for marketing, proposals, or internal use remain the property of Legacy Writers LLC.

4. Payment Terms

Pricing: All pricing is provided in written proposals and must be agreed upon before work commences. Prices are subject to change based on project scope.

Payment Schedule: Payment terms will be outlined in individual service agreements. Typical arrangements include:

• Initial deposit (typically 30-50% of total fee)
• Milestone payments throughout the project
• Final payment upon project completion

Late Payments: Payments not received within 15 days of the due date may result in work suspension until payment is received.

5. Refund Policy

Initial deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. Refunds for milestone payments will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If you are dissatisfied with our services, please contact us immediately to discuss resolution options.

6. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client projects. Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) are available upon request and will be signed before project commencement. We will not disclose, share, or claim authorship of any work created for clients without explicit written permission.

7. Revisions and Edits

The number of revisions included in each project will be specified in the service agreement. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional fees. We strive to ensure client satisfaction and will work collaboratively to achieve the desired outcome.

8. Timeline and Delivery

Project timelines will be outlined in individual service agreements. While we make every effort to meet deadlines, timelines may be affected by factors including client feedback delays, scope changes, or unforeseen circumstances. We will communicate proactively about any timeline adjustments.

9. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Provide timely feedback and materials necessary for project completion
• Respond to communications within agreed timeframes
• Make payments according to the agreed schedule
• Ensure all provided content does not infringe on third-party rights
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with our team

10. Limitation of Liability

Legacy Writers LLC provides professional literary services but does not guarantee publication, commercial success, or specific outcomes. Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for services rendered. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. Upon termination, the client will be invoiced for work completed to date. All completed work and materials will be delivered upon receipt of final payment.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through mediation or arbitration before pursuing litigation.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
